THE REVERSIBLE QUILTED JACKET
Developed and made in Paris, the Quilted is a reversible and multipurpose jacket. It is especially designed for winter and can be worn from fall to springtime as a sweater or as a jacket with or without a coat.
Reversible, a side made of British cotton twill, padded effect and two piped pockets, the other an exclusive padding, a contrastant graphic visual and two bellow plated pockets.
WARM, LIGHT AND BREATHABLE, THE QUILTED IS A TECHNICAL PIECE MADE OF 3 LAYERS OF FABRICS : BRITISH COTTON TWILL, WOOL WADDING AND COTTON POPLIN.
We replaced our recycled polyester wadding by a wool wadding which is developed in the French Pyrénées.
THIS IS NOT POLYESTER
At the foot of the French Pyrénées, shepherds raise sheeps in the open air. Every summer, they go up to the heights in transhumance. Their milk is then transformed into cheese.
Muriel collects a wool that they had ended up throwing away, because of a lost competitiveness compared to synthetic.
However, it is insulating, thermo-regulating, absorbent, resistant and 100% biodegradable, perfect to replace our polyester.
We had to convince our industrial partner to test this solution: the result is perfect.
Our quilted jacket is now rich with this hidden treasure.
Buttons have been replaced by Dorlet diabolo buttons. They are 100% reusable, removable and recyclable button with 0 chemicals. Their two faces give to the Quilted the capacity of being reversible.

THE SCARF
Developed and made in Paris, the Quilted Scarf is a piece made from black popelin cotton and wool wadding. Warm, light and breathable, the Padded Scarf can be worn in different ways thanks to an handle.

Coltesse seeks balance in its creative proposals, between a timeless and minimalist sophistication for an everyday wardrobe and a freedom of movement.
It is also a balance between our creative ambitions and our ecological convictions. Human beings are at the heart of our project: respect the planet means respect them.
From the first pattern to material tests, the quilted jacket was developed entirely in our studio in Paris, we work locally.
APPOINTMENT AT THE STUDIO
Coltesse is located at La Caserne in Paris. This former fire station welcomes brands and fashion actors to work on sustainable fashion, with the sharing of tools and knowledge.
We are happy to welcome you by appointment at the studio to discover and try the Quilted Jacket and the Quilted Scarf.
